My lophs *updated 10-29*
    #9107203 -

Here:

The 5 in the pot are all LW with different locales and 1 variation (pluricostata). Just thought I'd share some of my babies. I have several more coming really soon. I'll update this thread when they all get here.

Real Nice man. How old are the 5 LW in the one pot and did you start from seed? :cactus:

gethyn- Thanks I just got those 5 about a week ago. I didn't start them. I don't have Est Catorse, Huizache SLP, San Antonio NL, La Soledad, and v pluricostata seeds hanging out . I wish I had enough room for a bunch of locales and varients. I think it is just better for me to collect young healthy specimens than start from seed with all of them. I have more of these "locales" coming soon. I may start a few from seed soon. I really want a pentagona :yesnod:.

i had to trash my lophs to avoid legal complications and got my seeds stolen from me along with a good amount of glass and my scale and some spore prints, but no actual weed

nice to see someone enjoying their lophs though, they're cute as a button

uare- the 26 others are in the mail . I'm starting to wonder about 4 of them that hasn't got here yet. I spent a lot esp for another jourdaniana. And I didn't want to post any pics of my koehresii that I had to cut up. Damn rot .

The small one with 6 heads is a jourdaniana. Each head is about 1cm across. Odd that it puppud like that IMO. And I am sure its a jourdaniana. The one without any rocks was a Blue Mytle graft that broke during shipping. I am hoping it throws out roots. One of my favorite finds is a small L fricii v albiflora RS404 Viesca, Coah.

That sucks teefizzle. Sorry about your misfortune. At least you have the balls to do it instead of possibly ending up in jail.

Nice plants, it's amassing, how you fall in love with, those little critters.
A guy asked me the other day if I had pets, and the first thing that poped into my mind was my lophs. I didn't say they were , lol but I did think of them first.

Nice lophos mang! :awesome:
I´ve got a ton of varieties (10-15) in seeds.
I´m hoping to start them this summer if I manage to organize myself.

Thanks guys! And yeah, I've kinds got an addiction. Not as bad as uare though. The guy is full-blown :yesnod::lol:.

Here is a closer shot of that jourdaniana as well as the "backside" of my lg LW v caespitosa. That side has the most new growth. The other side has some big heads on it. I'll upload a pic from that angle later. It takes me forever to upload with dial-up .

I'm not quite sure what variety I have. I would love to have several different strains though.

Dr :ronpaul: says to stop trying to treat the side-effects of big government and focus on the core issues. End the Federal Reserve/audit the gold reserves at Fort Knox, abolish the IRS, end all wars and occupancies, stop the building of an empire that will inevitably fail, and cut all unconstitutional federal programs. Put the power back in the peoples' hands by ending this nanny-state.

Here are some more. Obviously 2 of them aren't lophs. The columnar one is a Trichocereus pachanoi mutant (breast plant). The painful looking one is a Coryphantha macromeris. I spent all summer looking for one. They are hard to find. The LW caespitosa graft is the same one as above (and in sig), and I put a lighter in there to show the scale. IDK what its grafted to. Any ideas? Anyway, that sucker cost me $75, but I had to have it.

Thanks for the comments. Its too bad that none of my friends here share my enthusiasm, but we all got each other. :awesome:

Sorry that the pics are kinds blurry. I have a cam now, but no book. I put the dial thing on "P" and turned macro on. IDK what I'm doing. When you get a little older your technology skills go from good to retarded

uare- looks familiar huh ?

kada- thanks bro. I figured it was a steno. I didn't realize it was a griseus though. Thats what my texana is supposedly grafted to. Maybe its one too. IDK, but they don't look the same.

I just bought 6 more lophs last night . My wife is going to be pissed.....

Thats the only other pic of it that I have uploaded. Its a terrible pic . All it really shows is how narrow the ribs are, and how the areoles stick out. Notice how the spination (first pic) is kinda spiral. That is what peaked my interest in this plant. Well that and it is the only LW v texana graft that I could find at that time . If that pic doesn't help, I'll upload another one. Maybe I should adjust the size of my pics, so it doesn't take 20 minutes for me to upload 1 damn picture.
