Some sushi, Kava, and Blueberry for the night

Went to this new Fiji ethnic store around the corner from my house to see what goodies they had. Found a 1/2 LB of kava, this is my first time trying the stuff i have only had a few sips so far by my mouth and throat are already numb...

For dinner I got a sushi roll with shrimp and eel :thumbup: . And picked up a gram of the best blueberry i have had in a while, the only way i can describe the taste and aroma is "Blue".

Just going to be a chill evening for myself, maybe head to the pool hall later....

What are you all up to this fine fall night?

How is the kava?

Blueberry really is special, in fact, I can say that is one of the only two strains that I have found anything special about. There is a warmth to it. I don't know what the other shit was, I wish I knew what it was called. My friend kept trying to ask what time it was but it kept on coming out "how stoned am I?"

I only made one serving of it with 3 heaping tablespoons of powdered kava Root to 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup whole milk. and 1/2 cup of herbal tea consisting of Valerian, Chamomile, and Mint.

The taste wasn't nearly as bas as people have described, i was expecting something like morning glory seed tea....Anyway, i just had the one serving and felt the effects within about 30 minutes. I felt relaxed for sure, it took the edge off, had a slight body buzz, and felt just a general sense of well being. A friend came over and that's when i really noticed the effects, i realized how talkative i was being just as i would be if i had a few beers and was loosened up. I found it to be a very clearheaded buzz, though.

I ended up going to play pool so i only drank that one cup, but took a few hits of that blueberry before i left and found Kava & Bud to have a nice synergy with each other...I will give it a try in a day or two but definitely drink more next time. For those of you who haven't, give Kava a go :super:
