PNW Pelliculosa question

From what research Ive done, I believe Ps. Pelliculosa should be popping up right about this time of year. I live very close to a clearcut near Kingston where MJ has found Pelliculosa in the past (2003 I think), and I am wondering if too many years have passed for that location to still have abundant Pelliculosa? Also, another side question: would this clearcut be a good place to keep my eyes out for Cyans?

If it grew there before, it should still grow there unless someone removed all of the top soil. As to the abundance of them, it will vary from year to year.

The clearcuts fruit for a few years and then other mushrooms move in.  If you find the right age clearcut and its the right time of year you could be very lucky.
