Just curious, has anyone had real good success with these? Or did a experiement to test their contamination prevention properties?

Thanks! My house is rather unclean and dirty, plus I have my A/C less then 3 feet away from my jars, I'm thinking of buying some of these in the near future!

I'd skip em unless you have a contam problem.
If you want slighty faster colonization they might be worth a go though :cool:

I don't like them. There are better reusable filter disks out there. They cost a whole lot more though. Anyway, I don't think they are good filters; stuff can get through, and your cakes will dry out because they let moisture escape. Then again, they are a cheap way to go. And you get what you pay for.

I tried the filter discs with the PF TEK technique and just realized better to go with the lids but thats just me

If your going to "rag" that a vendor "beat" you. It would be astute to alledge how you supposedly got "beat". Otherwise, your post is just a "cheap shot", with nada backing it up.

I got beat by micron magick just how 90% of the other bad vendors beat people.. i sent in my money order for a gt and 25 discs waited a month.. then pm'd him micronmagick a few times he said he sent them out and don't know what happend so i was like ok cool i just moved [but have friends still living where i lived] so i gave him my new address and asked him to send here.. he says he did.. but he never sent me the confirmation number i asked for... i waited another few weeks and pm'd him again then he said something like your going to have to sign for it this time i said sure id love to sign for it.. he never sent it again and he begun ignoring my pm's.... luckily another nice vendor covered my gt syringe .. i wont mention his name for fear of sounding like a puppet[but thank you i still owe you one],but i still got beat outta 25 discs and lost about 2 months of time... this was a few months back

Has he beat anyone else?
