They're funny.
Living out little Utopian worlds in their minds without actually realizing people aren't so friendly.

The anarchists that come into my work are really really fucking weird.  Not policy and politically weird, but really odd individuals all around.

I find it slightly worth a giggle that the Anarchists get together to meet at the same place at the same time every week though.  I feel like suggesting it would be more Anarchist if they just randomly made a new time and place every week without telling anybody else about it.

Most anarchists I met were cool
and I love how they bought Mcdonald's
with their hardocre mindset behind that pickle.

I also believe my .45 is a bigger deterrent to crimes against
me than an entire police force and a book with 10,000 laws

of course if there were no laws, would there actually be any crimes?

I agree with their sentiment, i just don't think it would work. If people weren't so power hungry and egotistical i believe anarchism would be the natural way for humans to exist.

But there's also different views on how anarchism would work. I read one theory which said that although there would be no such thing as a police force or any formal government, people would still naturally band together to get things done, even if that means punishing someone for something they did wrong. The difference being is that there would be no permanent police force or administrators, they would just be created as needed and then disbanded as soon as their jobs were done.

I support anarchism so I can steal all your shit when there's no longer a police force.

Dumbass punk kids have ruined the face of anarchism. There's so much more it it than "TOTAL CHAOS FUCK YEA!"

They usually are and that's the problem. They are friendly, and their friends are friendly, so they start to get a jaded view of the world.
"If we just dissolved the police force and allowed a voluntary militia it would keep the world in check."
Except that completely falls apart when some asshole isn't a complete moron and disguises his evil motives, volunteers for said militia, and then fucks shit up.

I just dont understand anarchists who take handouts from the government.

I recently crossed paths with one who was intelligent and well spoken, However, speaking about protest he said "i support rioting if it costs the government lots of money."

He also collected foodstamps.

Whats the logic?? - the best i can see; Governments create undesirable situations for conscious radical persons, and because of this "governments must pay!" ...

He was American so he's got more to complain about than me (a Canadian) but puhlease...

However, i do like anarchists and at times consider myself one on the fringe. Or perhaps a social anarchist..

It is possible to -idealistcally- be an anarchist and still take advantage of the system. Why not? Anarchism is not a religion that must be enforced in your everyday life. It's the core of a political theory, which has a vast number of notably varying offshoots. That being said, clumping all anarchists into one big group isn't exactly logical. It's unfair, actually.

Granted, most people that label themselves anarchists do so in a manner that would insinuate that they are raiding government institutions in the night and such, trying to "tear the system down." When in reality, they are raiding a Taco Bell in the night followed by spray painting anarchy symbols on the local police station. These people are, indeed, douche bags.
