Would it be terribly dangerous to buy some spores off someone from the spore exchange forum... I live in cali... i cant order them.. Also. Is it possible i could be sold spores from a poisonous strain?

It's all a matter of trust bud. I've sent spores to friends I've met on here b4. Just talk to a more respected and experienced person, and remember, trust has to go both ways.
