Computer volume question
    #1789935 - 08/07/03 07:55 PM (20 years, 5 months ago)

I run XP, I like to listen to web radio, and now I have just started playing some games. I never played comp games before believe it or not. Now, my question is, can I regulate the volume of the game independently of the volume of the music? When I listen to music the sound on the games is WAY too loud, but I don't always have to turn the game sound off. How can I fix this?

The game sound have a seprate volume. Depending on the game you playing, there is probably backround volume, FX volume, and an overall. Just turn down the sound in the game.

I looked for that, but the game I'm playing doesn't have that, just a mute button.

I dunno what game your playing. But it looks like you have to choose between the game and the radio. hahaha

right click on the speaker icon in your system tray, and select 'open volume control'

You can set wav, software synth (midi), and CD audio volumes separately. There's also a master volume.
