Could you elaborate?

I struggle to find a solution in this in such a wager. In terms of believe in it or not.

Just a breif summary (based on own experience) since such an analysis could require a long essay:

Say for now, i only believe in solopism (on the terms of) believing that my subconscious is not intent on creating a negative reality. With this ill try weigh up the risks.

Believing in solopism for my individuality and own current experience of reality:
-true = potential positive through fulfillment of conscious or subconscious desire. a heavily negative reality could be seen as positive anyway since its what my being wanted. Risk seems low.
-false = hard to weigh. I could have little to lose if i have no authority or fame or notoriety. But could lose greatly if i possess any of those in great amounts. Risk seems variable

Not believing in solopism:
-true = i may have wasted time and created a crap world subconsciouly without realising it. though then again it could all be for a positive reason. Risk seems variable
-false = similar to believing in it, but this time people wont think i'm a crazy for believing they're creations from myself. seems the more neutral of choices but can still lose greatly if i am of a high standing in relation to negative and positive effects in reality. Risk seems variable

So with solopism and me=
True: The risk is variable depending on how much control i have and how my personal entity is related to this reality. Death ends this reality i've created

False:The risk is variable depending on my decisions in life that can affect a few or many depending on the track my life goes down. Death just ends my life, reality continues on with how small or large the imprint on history and people i leave behind.

The analysis of a wager may vary from person to person.

But for myself i have a slight inkling towards believing in solopism on the wager. But not on terms on false positive vs false negative, but more so on terms of true positive vs true negative. But struggle to justify why, except that a false negative and a false positive seems to more or less equal the same outcome (with the exception of people thinking i'm crazy, yet they could still think i'm crazy anyway in the false negative result (not believing in solopism when its false))

Yet, how can i know my subconscious intent? if solopism is true, how much do i consciously control?
And how the hell can i weight which has the most to lose? even in essence of death one is finite, one is infinite. One starts and ends with one entity, the other probably infinite and is independant of each seperate entity in it. It is the potential answers to these questions (which act like important variables) that can change the analysis of the wager and thus i'm left confused.



I am very unsure. Can anyone else shed some light? or pick apart my analysis.

If I where to assume that I existed in a solipsistic universe, and I was wrong; I would lose out on accepting real useful information as the truth. All knowledge that I came to realize would be trivial because I would assume it arbitrary in nature.

If the entire platform to which all things existed was confined to the boundaries of my personal consciousness, and my beliefs were analogous to this fact, I would simply be surrendering to this limitation. I would realize that the universe was tiny compared to what it would be with a single mind plus many.

The actual objective state of the universe is trivial (in this case). Only your belief on the nature of the universe is essential. If you were to, in a solipsistic world, employ the notion that you are not alone, that in its self would create a more complicated universe. In a socially ontological universe, it would be counter productive to not engage socially as a result of your solipsism.

Either way you look at it, we are social animals. Solipsism is detrimental to happiness whether your in a solipsistic universe or not. You can argue that materialism is unjustifiable but no matter what type of universe you live in or where you are, you need other human contact.

Contrary to the wager, truth (in this situation alone) is worthless.
