i was really hoping he would be an unstoppable juggernaut, even though my friend and my brother laughed at me and said he was amateur.

shit.

who knows, maybe he'll win the next 5.

he almost instantly fell down and got punched in the head till the ref stopped it.
fight was 14 seconds long, and like 5 seconds of that was them starting out.

also he didn't even fight shamrock.  he fought a stand in, Petruzelli (had never heard of him before)

god damn! i cant wait to see the video of that fight. i heard he wasnt fighting shamrock.. wonder why... maybe he decided to retire AGAIN.

Kimbo Slice, lol. I used to watch him on the internet. He was a bad ass brawler. This karate dude fucked him up in under 15 seconds tonight, then the camera zoomed in on him and he had tears welling up. Then right on cue in dramatic fashion 1 tear streamed down his cheek. I will never forget street brawler Slice get fucked up, then cry. Kimbo Slice, lol.

nah he's been training for what, like 2 years?  that should be decent enough amount of time.  if he wasn't ready he shouldn't have started competing.

yep... my friend told me this was going to happen, they're both big crocop fans, pretty much the exact opposite of kimbo.

Kimbo is/was nothing more than a marketing ploy. Of course he lost, he has fought like what 2 over the hill nobodies before this? He is a long way away from being able to step in with real fighters and at his age I don't expect him to be a force in the sport, ever.

yeah... his streetfighting video's make him seem like he's tough as fucking nails.

the gannon fight he was obviously way way off.  i don't know, i just hoped, it was a wild dream.

i thought he might become the mike tyson or tiger woods of mma.

he did not fight shamrock b/c he hurt himself prior to the fight training. i believe it was the day before or same day of fight. he was cut above his left eye. he did not get medical approval to fight.

bas rutten is the best. he could be 80 years old, arthritic, in a wheel chair and still fuck up any of these clowns.

Perhaps they can find a place for him in "pro" wrestling. The punch that dropped him was not even a power punch. Sure he was moving forward at the time but after rewatching the video it is hard to believe that dropped him. 

Also did you hear the announcer day "the biggest upset in MMA history" or some such tripe? That just dovetailed so nicely with the other ridiculous hyperbole applied to the guy.

I agree kimbo should definitely do pro wrestling like WWE or TNA. He'd probably get paid more and he wouldn't get beat up so bad.
