Am I the only one who doesn't believe this story?

A crazy guy drowns a kitten and pets it for a few hours and tells the OP's girlfriend. The OP calls the cops and is somehow there to see the confused look on the guys face when he's taken into custody. Then the OP calls the guys mother to smooth things over?

At the Shroomery I've learned to take everything seriously, even if I marginally believed it.

A response of disbelief isn't productive and hardly ever brings the truth to light.

Its happened that people were posting a mess, most shroomerites laughed it off and it turned out to be an actual emergency.

Especially in the case of health matters and drug overdoses I'd rather be gullible than inadequate in my response because I don't take things seriously.

If this is real, stay the hell away from that guy is the best response, if its not real - does it really matter? An adequate response to a bullshit situation is still a good post :grin:

I definitely was not there. I spoke to the police, and thats what they told me: "hurt and confused." Whats unbelievable about calling his mother? His behavior, from chat logs and what my girlfriend tells me, is childlike. If you have someone's child arrested, you'd tell the mother.
