If only all the candidates would refuse to talk to the mainstream media, then maybe the mainstream media would have a little less influence over who gets elected.

I assume they are still going to have debates?

I can't remember the last time I learned anything new during a debate.  I think, if you were to watch the first presidential debate and compare it with Barack Obama on that Fox Show the other night, you probably will have learned much more from the future debate than you did the television show.  The debates give softball questions and then light the candidate preen and fluff for several minutes while saying little of any substance.

At least in a one-on-one interview there are serious questions given, maybe not the ones I would prefer be asked, but substantive questions at any rate.

Anyone who takes the time to watch the video this Obama shill from Time magazine included in his snarky screed can see that nowhere does Nicole Wallace say the media won't be allowed to question or interview Sarah Palin. For that matter, Carney doesn't say it either... though he does his Michael Moore/Noam Chomsky damndest to get the readers to believe this is what Wallace said.

I realize McCain's choice of running mate has upset you to the point where you are no longer capable of rational examination of facts, but this is a new low for you. Seriously, dude... you'd regain a bit of our respect if you were to actually examine some of this crap before uncritically posting it as gospel. And you call yourself a scientist?

I went ahead and did my best to type up a transcript of the video in the link provided by the OP.  Because they were constantly talking over one another it was a bit difficult, but I think what I have is accurate... much more so than the lame claims that Sarah Palin will not talk to the media.  If somebody can figure out where that tidbit came from, I would love to see it:

Ah, thanks for the correction.  I was having a lot of trouble when they were talking over one another separating the two (or three) conversations.  Could you understand the health question?  I wasn't sure on it, either.
