My Labor Day in Retail

Me: Hello, this is Geek Squad what can I do for ya?

Them: Yeah hi I just picked up my computer yesterday from your store.  It was repaired at your service center, they replaced the motherboard.

Me: Okay..

Them: I get it home and turn it on and it's still full of viruses!

Me: I see.  Well your service plan covers you for hardware issues, not software issues cause by the end user.

Them:  That's fucking bullshit I paid $150 for that service plan, what a fucking ripoff.

Me:  Sir they replaced your motherboard, you practically have a new computer.

Them:  Well it's unusable, I need you to fix this.

Me:  Sure just bring it in to the store, pop it up on the counter, and we'll get you checked in.

Them:  You're fucking kidding me, you want me to bring it back in?!  I just picked it up!

Me:  Well sir I need the computer in my possession to be able to work on it.

Them:  This is absolutely fucking ridiculous, your service sucks.  I'm NOT bringing my computer back in I was just there [insert gas price complaint here]  You should have done this shit right the first time.  GOD DAMMIT!!

Me:  Sir you have to bring it in.

Them:  I refuse to make another trip down there.

Me:  Okay.  Here's what we're gonna do.  When I say "go" hold your phone up to the computer, about 1.5" away. 

Them:  Okay...

Me:  Then I'm going to chant some magical elf speak into your computer, hopefully removing all viruses.

Them:  What's your name?

Me: Geek Squad.

Them:  No YOUR NNAAAME

Me:  Geek Squad.

Me:  I'm not required to give my name, according to store policy.

Them:  (breathing heavily)  Get you manager RIGHT NOW!

Me: Have a nice day.  *click*
