if my heart stops working then I'm fucking dead, unless there's a helicopter in
my yard and I'm already strapped to the board when it stops. Animal Science as
a degree more closely resembles Veterinary medicine and Animal Husbandry than
it does Medical Research as you're describing it... so even if I am in the
chopper on time, we make it to the hospital prior to brain death it appears I'd
still have to wait for the veterinarian to get there to do the stint. I'd
rather stay home and practice blood letting and leaches. thanks

If you are operating on animals its pretty important to have a good idea of the anatomy of whatever the hell you are working on.  Also, you don't need drs operating on animals its a lot more expensive that way.  The doctors are in charge of running the studies and they collected the data/did the surgery.

If it's that bad can't the dildo pickers form a dildo pickers union, combine their dildo picking powers into one massive dildo picking power and bargain their dildo picking power accordingly?
