I've heard of historical records of dildos being used as far back as the ancient Greeks. Doesn't surprise me at all that it goes back into prehistoric times.

There's a book I read where they talked about the origins of the word dildo.

There was some famous poet who wrote about a shipfull of dildoes sinking back in the 1700s, and he used the word dildo. It was Coleridge or someone.

I'd have to look it up again.
