When to Birth -- cakes lookin very white

Hello all
My friend fluffy has 8 jars growing of "creeper" and
12 jars growing of florida, 8 done on one day and 12 the day after
He was not very accurate with his squirting... and some of the jars in each group are getting very close to all white, while others have only spots.
two questions he has...
1) When he can't see any more brown in the jars, is the cake done?... Does it have to have more time to colonize through the middle of the jar? After they're all white, how much time should he wait to birth them?
2) Is it ok to put fully-white jars of 2 different strains into the same terrariuum?... All the jars at the same time won't fit in his grow chamber, So can he do 2 different groups of mixed cakes, (all the really white ones, then the slower ones)or will they get angry with each other?
He sees no contams yet (knock all over that wood) and is looking forward to multiple flushes... but... how long can colonized cakes sit before they have to be birthed?... will they go bad, or something? If so, anyone have any ideas on where to put the second group or what to do with them while the first group is still fruiting?

Read the FAQ's, sorry, i just had to see what it felt like.

1) Yes, when you can't see any more brown it is colonised. My buddy likes to wait at least a couple of days if not a week before he births.

2) No its not a problem.

3) Let them stay where they are until they are colonised.

Oh and try dunking some and just birthing others and see if there is a noticable difference. You'll see how much fun dunking is.

Don't fuck around, DUNK ALL OF THEM.. My pet turtles grow log called "DUNKED HAWAIINS" shows a huge difference in the first flush even. THen after flushing re-dunk and your golden. I would say atleast 1 extra dried gram per cake on each flush.
