birthing cakes
    #535080 - 01/29/02 03:14 PM (22 years, 2 months ago)

I toke my cakes out of the jars(even the b+ one still didn't finish all of the bottom)because they were pinning like mad. I put then in an aquarium in my brothers' room(close to a wood stove!). I seal the top woth ceram rap and replenish the aquariums air 3-5 times a day. I think i water it 2-3 with just a couple sprays maybe less maybe more, haha. The temp is around 23-26. there is sometimes water puddles that form on the bottom of aquarium, does this mean i water to much? I removed the verm layer and put a fresh moist verm layer and put the cake on some tin foil(this is the way the guy i bought the spores told me to do it). I had them in a cold place for a day them moved um to bro's room. I guess my question is how am i doing, there aint no signs of containmination yet.....and is there any easy additions or pointers you can tell me that i can do to my aquarium that are simple and don't require me to have to spend money or know a scientist?
THANKS ALOT

Use perlite for humidification.
