What size pressure cooker

I have a small pressure cooker thats only 5 inches tall. Im wanting to sterilize quart jars How many quart jars will 22 quart hold? Will quart jars fit in a 12 quart or do I need the 22 quart

This really depends on what brand of pressure cooker you have or buy.

If you buy an All American pressure cooker :

The 910.....10 1/2 quart will hold 4 quart jars or 7 pint jars.

The 915.....15 1/2 quart will hold 7 quart jars or 10 pint jars.

The 921.....21 1/2 quart will hold 7 quart jars or 19 pint jars.

The 925......25 quart will hold 7 quart jars or 19 pint jars.

The 930.......30 quart will hold 14 quart jars or 19 pint jars.

The 941.......41 1/2 quart will hold 19 quart jars or 32 pint jars.

You can find some of these right now on Ebay.....really cheap.
I suggest getting one....I love mine!
