I need advices

Hi,

Two questions regarding spawned horse dung.

1. Should I definitely wait until the surface has fully colonised before promoting pinning conditions?

2. If the surface is reasonably wet, some might say a little too wet should I still case it? If so, what depth casing should I make it and will straight verm do?

Many thanks for any ideas put forth.

1. You should wait a few days after the poo looks fully colinized to make sure that the inside and bottom has fully colonized.

2. You can fruit horse poo without a casing layer on the 1st flush....straight off the poo its self.
You can get a better 1st flush by casing.
Verm by its self is not that great a casing material......IMO
Try 50/50 with oyster shell or Verm/Coco Coir or just Coco Coir.

Casing layer is dependent on how much substrate depth you have.
