Is there a site that is listed with an LD 50 for mushrooms. If so can someone please give it in dry weight of mushrooms not psiclobyn or psiclcin content? Thanks

depends, there are different species of mushrooms. And even the same species will vary in potency from mushroom to mushroom. so you'd be better off getting it in the amount of psilocybin etc. and then applying that to the type of mushroom in question. A general statement I've heard is about one's own body weight (I"m not sure if this is of shrooms or of pure psilocybin, but I would think just shrooms) and that's probably for cubensis.

There are too many different kinds of mushrooms with different proportions of psilocybin. The LD50 for psilocybin is about 17 grams. You can do the math if you want ot find out how many cubes or cyans or whatever. In any case, it's more mushrooms than you can eat.

Off the top of my head I think it was in the range of a pound to a pound and a half of mushrooms.

Ok I did the math for psilocybe cubenesis based on Erowid data.

You'd need to consume 2857 grams of dried cubes to reach the LD50. That's about six pounds. Start eating.

Wow thats alot! Thanks alot guys i just wish the world would accept psilocybin at least for research purposes so we can understand the human psyche also i think it would maybe aid people in sessions with psychologists for mental disorders. I.E. Easier to visualize feelings and describe to doc whats happening at least give some insight on the mind i would think.
