hUNTER GOES INDOOR
    #873173 -

i've hunted for a few season now, but this season has been grim for me, athough I have had a good time, the trips on the road are long for me. (also dangerous). Leaving in NC sucks when it comes to shroom hunting. Only a few wood spiecies are here and not that many are found from what I know. Hunting is my joy , but money problems and school keep me close to home. So for the first time I'm gonna try growing my own. I ordered from the Little Shop of Spores. If you know about them reply with info on them. I chose three different strians B+s Lipa's and PESA's. Hope to have good yeilds but the search will never die for that Georgia Weilli. My planned trip is still on for this weekend. After doing research about the area and info from other ppl on the forum I think this is going to be the big trip!!!
Can't wait to have some great photos to post like you others have graced us with your friend the travelingHunter.

Good luck! (I sure hope that you dont expect to find multiple "magic" species growing along the roadside as some do)

The lab technicians have once again been instructed to re-attempt the cultivation of the Psilocybe weilii mushroom. Testing I believe is once again underway!!!!

Well Mr_Mushrooms, The Psilocybe weilii spore deposits were acquired from www.sporeworks.com,
For 30-some outrageous dollars.

I had actually been up there in weilii country twice and remember during the last visit finding around 2 dozen Psilocybian weilii mushrooms and printing them overnight for around 10 hours only and the prints did not turn out so swell.

The technicians are waiting on the Lizard Kings contest/giveaway of this years fresh weilii prints.

The date on the print acquired from sporeworks was from the year 2000 and that print is done with now.
-They have seen good results as far as the agar growth has gone so far, very little if any problems with contamination on agar.

They want to feed the cows weilii-cakes.

Keep shroomin,
GG

Any more spores making rounds here??
I think a few ppl attempting the grow will make it that much more of a probable attempt.
