Gotta stay with mates when your too pissed to walk home. Easy way to get jumped. Personally I invested in a police baton. Though get tempered steel if possible, couple good whacks to a sturdy frame and that bastards gonna bend.

That sucks man. One thing that you can take solace in is that those losers' shitty life is an extreme punishment in and of itself. Everyday you wake up as a good and intelligent person and everyday they wake up knowing in their core that they are worthless pieces of shit. They weren't raised with any love because subconsciously their mothers or probably their old fucking worthless hag maternal grandmothers know that their pathetic DNA isn't worth nourishing. Seriously, they come from a long line of a worthless, fucking worse than worthless, harmful even, strain of DNA that only exists because of the below animal instincts of their less than retarded ancestors. Scum doesn't even describe then. They are not worth the fecal matter on the bottom of your shoes and deep inside they know it, that's why they are so angry and they lash out constantly at this world. If we had any mercy we would line all these cunts up and blow their ignorant dysfunctional brains out of their thick skulls and let them feed some insects that at least have some worth as a living organisms.

Pretty much sums it up.  I don't care how much training you have had, when drunk, fighting skills become worthless.

If you ever do get in a fight, remember, there is no such thing as a dirty fight... hit hard and hit fast breaking elbows, wrists, and knees before they know what happened.

However, if you can avoid the fight, then you win.  Yeah, you might feel like a wimp for doing what it took to avoid the fight, but remind yourself that you could be sitting in a police station, with your lawyer, arguing that it was self-defense.

In higher level Aikido training, we do study quite a bit about dealing with multiple attackers it's called randori. Aikido in general is a defensive art, but when doing randori, you really have to bring it to them before they all get to you at the same time.

That said, I don't know how effective any martial training is gonna be when you're piss drunk.

When I was taking Judo randori just meant stand up fighting.  Ne waza was ground fighting.  We had exercises taking down multiple attackers but it didn't have a special name.  I'm not picking just noting the discrepency.

I had a friend who got jumped by some guys when drunk.  Two of them I think, he lost but he said he managed to armbar one guy really good while he got pounded by the other guy.  He may have lost the fight but it was a victory in his mind.  But what's with people?  Would any of us here think we were tough and congratulate ourselves for ganging up on someone noticeably intoxicated?  Wtf are they trying to prove?

Interesting. Was your teacher japanese, or speak japanese? Just curious if it's a mis translation, or if different arts just use the term for different types of training, because even when I trained in Japan, that was how they used it.

Yeah that makes sense.  I just can't see how you would build up to it.  The subtleties of gang beating are just beyond me I guess.  They've got to playing off each other's insecurity.  At least it wasn't worse though, with three people it easily could have been.
