Created a monster on 2nd grow

Some pics.

The cakes are from my first grow, on their 2nd and 3rd flushes. Moved everything to a bigger better FC with sweet results.

Some EQ



Had to post this EQ. It's standing tall right on top of the cake.




Here's my favorite strain, Golden Teacher. Crumbled and cased pint cake cased in 50/50. Not many, but they got BIG. the tallest one weighs in at 4 grams dry, without the cap. the cap itself is 2g dry. I got a huge sporeprint off this feller the cap wouldnt' even fit in a jelly jar had to use a quart.



This is it's first flush, and after dunking the casing i found tons of primordia and small shrooms growing on the bottom so i cut it in half and rinsed most of the casing off, put it in the FC upside down with wet verm under it. Kinda an experiment. Looks like 2 big flat cakes.


Pictures of the harvest, well most of it. The EQ is at the 12'oclock of the lighter, GT at 6'0clock.




MMmm For those of you that don't know, wal-mart has 64 quart sterilites with clear lids. I believe they go for 7 dollars. No need to mess with plexiglass or do any cutting/measuring for a lid.

props on a 60g wet monster.
As far as cutting in half and re-verming, Ithink thats trouble if you dont sterilize that verf first.

Well it was verm fresh out the bag. But yes i should have at least microwaved it to be safe. Thannks for pointing that out Led. Just for my own false sense of security, the verm is touching the bottom, not where i split the thing in half. Looking back that was idiotic, because now if a contam grows on what little is left of the peat/verm from before, i won't be able to see it. I will move these to a different FC.
