HEPA filter, walmart.......................................~40.00
Cool Mist Humidifier, walmart.........................~20.00
FL Gro Light, walmart....................................~10.00
(2)3' X 1' X 4.5' Shelf units, wmart................~30.00
(2)24 hour 4 position per Timers, wmart..... .~10.00
(4)Wheels, Lowe's......................................... ~8.00
Plastic sheeting 4mil, wmart...........................~ 2.00
Assorted Containers, removable tape, nuts..~10.00
Dryer Ducting, Lowe's...................................~10.00
Piece of mind from sterile, stealth (you'll see) box...........Priceless.
Total was about $140. It may seem really high, but to me it will be WELL worth it if it stops my trich problem. Besides, It will be a fucking massive sterile, mobile, self reliant treasure chest if it works.
EDIT: Fuck formatting this post, you get the idea...

Great setup! I was thinking of doing the same thing but instead of building the whole chamber I was thinking of using a tent.It gets a little expensive but it saves time.Anyone ever try this.

You could try it but I'm guessing poly/plastic would work better because a tent's fiber is breathable (if you mean using a camping tent, that is)

Nice setup!
Anyway, your idea is not new but it's a excellent implementation of look-a-likes setups i've seen, you're doing a good job and all but i really like it simple and that's too much $ for a growing chamber. Nice but only if you have enough money... OH! and i'll bet you'll be free from contams this time ;))
Peace,
MAIA.

this setup looks brilliant. you seem to have really thought it through and put a lot of work in.
it is truly unbelievable, that a mega setup like this costs significantly LESS than one hydropod!

In reply to:

LOL, have you seen how SMALL a hydropod is? You'd be lucky to get a half oz from that little paint bucket. Think about yields and piece of mind and this will pay for itself with the first flush.
Thanks everyone for the postive comments. I agree that 140 is a bit steep, but if you cut corners here and there you could get it down to less than 100 no prob. IMHO that is a small price to pay for piece of mind, automation and stealth.
I will be back later with more updates, later shroomery.

I didnt reads the whole post , so i dont know if anyone mentioned anything about light distribution, i mean if you have all thoose sevelves filled with trays then will enough light reach to the bottom shelf, dont what to be pesemistic but, just wondering if you have though of this.

Actually, I have considered the lack of light to the bottom shelfs. Since cubensis will grow in almost complete darkness it is pretty low on the list of concerns at the moment. Thanks though...I always enjoy pessimism. It allows me to make sure I have all the bases covered.

Assuming you dont have 30 trays in the same phase they will be easy to rotate.. Or my llamas would think.....
And about the front, why not just use velcro and 4mm plastic... Then my llamas have a full piece the entire length of the terr. That works wonders for them!!!!!!!!!!

What's up guys...there's been a slight delay in my project. It seems all the local wally worlds have ran out of that model shelf.
Right now I am entertaining the idea of using some more plastic sheeting on an old poster roll attached by velcro with some extra material that can attach to a hook on the wall above my oven. It would be sort of a massive hot box/flow hood where I could open the terrarium without fear of contams. Wadda think??
BTW, mirrors aren't really an option as they can cause hotspots and I am shooting for a uniform temp. Mylar or white paint would suffice, but then I lose the advantage of sight.
I am still trying to brainstorm so any input would be great. Later...

AWESOME idea. Any thought on disguising this thing to make it look like a piece of furniture or something somewhat common? I have guests over a lot and it would be nice if it just blended right in. I==

dickthebeast: When this "creation" is done, it will blend right in. You'll see. BTW, Are you a rather burly guy named richard or do you engage in beastality? J/K... Your name has me confused lol :)
