Damn i found what i thought was subbs but the stem looked kind of different then the subbs ive seen before. I took a spore print and turned out black so im pretty confused. Its probaly just dark brown being my luck.

My camera sucks and makes the print look brown. Oh well i only found three and that wont do any thing, ill just stick to buying them.

subbs and subb lookalikes grow on poop, why cant foes? :\

They probably could if you sterilized the poop and put in foe spores, however in the species descriptions of foes it doesn't mention dung, while the description for subbs does.  Never heard of anyone finding foes on dung either.

Mushrooms that grow in grass are very picky about their substrate.

I never sent out those subb/foes i found on poop a while back i got tied up with life, i should have sent them though...

none of them had bluing on them, i figure they werent subbs or foes though i dunno



If i find more this year ill send them to you and workman like i had planned on doing

I think they are subbs but if you notice there is something different about them it would be great to have them looked at.

I think they could grow on manure, but I've never heard of it.

well there was plenty of visible mycelium on about 50 specimens (the kind that overgrows onto the poop) and none of them bruised blue...

I havent seen them this summer i think i was finding them when it was cooler out 4 months ago
