I am looking for someone to help me learn this psi stuff so I find out what's bothering me and could be finally left alone...

Where could I find a teacher (person, spirits, etc.) like this?

You can teach yourself, that's the beauty of it.

Whatsoever you wish to change in your life is possible through a variety of psychological methods which can be combined with mystical practice to enhance their effects.

To figure out what's bothering you, you only need to examine yourself and closely observe the pictures streaming through the lens of your mind. These are the pictures of dreams, but they don't only appear at night when you sleep. They are constantly flowing even in the waking state. All you got to do is pay attention to your thoughts and the images that come along with them. This subtle slide show reveals your being in all honesty, as long as you do not try to resist its messages.

Take a close look and see what you can find. It may bring you closer to what you are wanting to learn.

What I want to teach myself so I could get my attention to learn psii is by
several self induced NDEs in middle of the desert so I could figure out what is wrong with me and ask God why I am here...


It's pretty much like jumping off a cliff for an answer many times and hope I survive each jump.

Only flaw I see with this is coming back to life and its very idiotic, foolish, even suicidal idea...

Any ideas on how to quickly teach myself this without resorting to such an action to find out what or who is bothering me so I could live my life in peace?

You are wise in seeking a teacher.

Although you may dig up or purchase thousands of books or videos on the subject of martial arts, for example, a year of teaching yourself will be less productive than a month of guided instruction.

It is not impossible to teach yourself but it is wildly inefficient. Finding a teacher, however, is rarely easy, and I can offer you no advice other than to pursue your interest passionately.

teachers are useful if you're studying math or history. mysticism is best learned alone in meditative states.

i'm very suspicious of anyone willing to tell you how to learn levitation or whatever, thats because those who don't know teach and besides they almost always want to shine of their own ego on a subject thats relatively impossible to test or disprove/prove.

listen to altered.  unless you're already deep into psychic stuff, you're probably not being affected by something external.

you need to use psychology.

and in america at least there are 100 bullshit teachers for every 1 real teacher, so be wary

True indeed. Discernment is a vital skill, yet one often cannot learn to discern without learning what bullshit smells like.

In other words, perhaps the OP stands to benefit most by exhausting his line of thought, although it may consume the most time and energy. It is easy to accept advice temporarily, but very difficult to learn the hard way more than once.

one of the best posts i've read this year on the shroomery wordless.

problem i find is even bullshit people can do some little magic tricks sometimes to capture your devotion, it takes familiarity with out there stuff before you start realizing they're just little tricks most people can do with a little time.

I'm not into the psi stuff by choice...

I'm just tired of being threatened by some ghost or whatever or whoever it is, tired of having the feeling of being watched and followed, being in pain for reasons unknown to medical professionals (they say I'm fine), feelings of whatever it is being ripped or walking out of me, and other odd creepy crap in my life that I can't seem explain (like being on both coasts at once at the same time) and tire of not being helped, etc. etc.
....

All I want is some relief so I could figure out whatever is causing me pain and be in peace damnit, that's all I'm asking for...

I don't know how this happened, I still have my doubts about it and I don't give a damn if you believe me or not..

Anyways...

The best example I could think of is the string theory working on a two way street.

Or,
switching or merging to other paths not taken..

I was in my apartment tub here in Nevada taking a bath.
All of a sudden, I was in a tub at my father's house in Ohio, and visa versa...

Had another one with a man on top of me trying to choke me to death in my bed and poof
gone.

Both were odd if you ask me...

If you're hearing voices, I'd recommend a psychologist, not a parapsychologist. That would simply mean denial of symptoms and rationalization - two psychological defense mechanisms. Pursue the simple more probable cause of phenomena first.

I've experienced classic "ring-like-a-bell-in-the-head" telepathy only 6 times in my almost 55 years. They were spontaneous events, and 4 out of 6 times was under the influence of LSD. When I immediately repeated what I had 'heard' with my mind on two occasions, jaws dropped, from friends no less, and they registered fearful facial expressions. This is a qualitatively different experience from hearing voices, commands, whispers, etc. and people require expertise in sorting out one from the other. With regard to paranormal perception, there are "sheep" and "goats," believers and non-believers (see Gertrude Schmeidler's work), and this includes mental health professionals.

I was trained by a parapsychologist - a co-publisher with J.B. Rhine, better known as the Egyptologist Bob Brier. All I can say is that certain disciplines like classic Yoga which intend to 'reduce the modifications of mind,' (i.e., thoughts) creates less internal dialogue and random trash-thoughts, thereby creating the type of inner quiet which allows for more telepathy to occur. They simply occur with greater frequency when the egoic-mind of random thoughts is profoundly quiet. That means that Psi functions are not under the control of the ego. Psi functions seem to be 'objective' reality that is registered in the non-egoic mind of pure awareness, then perceived rather than constructed by one's egoic-mind.

Check out the normal things first before jumping to the paranormal. Nornal things occur commonly, paranormal events are most uncommon, especially in a mind not altered by psychedelics or long discipline.

how old are you? if you have just started to pick this up after your teens, teach yourself and learn little.sorry you may not have the skill?not all are ment to be a jedi!lol no its a thing you have had since brith kicks in about 10 13 and i'm 31 now turn it off and on. I have sight, good healing hands.My friend is massage threopy she far better healing hands then me.Take a raki class those are given everywhere.that will give you a good base in feeling energy. then pick up some books on subjects you feel your strong at.read read read. and find friends that let you pratice on them with readings.

Some of us have sight some healing. Like i played football in college but hech i can not hit a baseball save my life. like everything your suited better in other places. follow?
and the whole spirit thing if you feel treaten vison a cloudy white ball around you forcing your energy out like a shield. that will help. also spirits cant hurt you unless you give them power or let them in.look up protection spells from spirits also magick jars.one that i know of is a nerco tailisment leave nails buried in a graveyard on the full moon then put them in a jar with holy water and your liking of herbs and flower.Dry flowers that are used in funerals are the best. this will ward off spirits and give you control. Also the nails can be used for sommon spirits and what not. If this is happening you already did something to welcome the spirits in. google spells and spirits. Bones from buired anmails are powerful humans even more.Ummmm.......but really baby steps. And the real power is in the mind.
