Free shit is the best shit- barber chair, pullout bed, ancient typewriter

The other day, I was driving around my neighborhood at 2 in the morning, and stumbled across a pimp barber chair.  This thing is awesome, 1950s style with the red naugahide (sp), big metal base, oil hydraulic up and down system.
Pictures tomorrow.
I managed to pack the thing into my blazer somehow, and lug it home.  The base is easily over 100 pounds by itself.

As I turn around the corner, what do I spy but a huge pullout bed-couch thing with 2 matching chairs!  Pictures to come tomorrow as well.  The things have barely any signs of wear on them and the people were just tossing them!
So, after unloading the chair at home I go back and take the bed back, which was hanging 1/3 out of the blazer, and go back for the chairs.

A week later, I'm helping my friends mom clean out her dead mothers house, and she offers me the coffee table, and anything else I'd like that isn't going to auction for free!
I offer to pay her, but she says the help cleaning out the house is enough payment.
So I score a nice coffee table, and a sweet 1940s typewriter!
The typewriter belonged to a journalist who worked for my cities' newspaper during the 40s.  This thing is old as dirt, but really sweet.

Its the "Clipper" model, in great condition, but not as good as the picture.  All the keys work except for the "Shift lock" key.  I don't know what all the levers do, but I've figured a number of them out.  I've got some new ribbon coming in the mail.  The thing in the center that lifts as you press the key sticks sometimes, so I think I might need to take it apart and oil it.
This thing is old as crap- if anyone has knowledge specific to it, PM me, and if you can help me out with maybe a .pdf manual for it or something, I will hook you up with a print or some poppy seed or something.

I've wanted to start writing a book for so long, and have lots of ideas in my head, but I find creative writing on computers to be difficult.  I've been playing with this thing for a half hour, and already I can feel the creativity flowing.  My fingers can't keep up with my thoughts, and when I hear the "ching" sound, meaning I hit the margin, its such a nice feeling to slide the cylinder thing back over.  I love everything about this thing so far.

When I was a kid I wrote short detective stories on my mom's typewriter. There was a whole series of them. I don't know what I did with all the paper but it's in my mom's house somewhere. Typewriters are the only way to write.
