I get my haircut on average twice a year
I spend the 40-50 bucks or whatever to not have it fucked up

yeah...I used to do the whole hair salon thing myself
but about a year ago that all fucken ended

I've been trying for about four or five years now to grow my hair out, and every time I go in for 'just a trim' they ALWAYS fucken do that bullshit where they try an make your hair all the same length (layering...I think is what it's called)

even when I specifically tell then NOT to
"oh...I'm just cleaning up the split ends"

and the last time I went (about a year ago) I threw a fucken hissy fit beforehand about how I wanted to grow my hair out, and I wanted it left fucken LONG (keep in mind that the only thing I wanted from em was just to trim it up in back, an get it off my collar)

this is what I wound up with:



(e.g. the exact OPPOSIT of what I made such a big stink about)








so yeah...I shaved all that crap off when I got home, and vowed never to go back to one of those places
and it's been ye good ol fashioned barber shops ever since  :yesnod:

Layering is the exact opposite of making it all the same length. Going in to get it trimmed is getting it all cut the same length. Sounds like your own fault.
