My barber murdered my neck (razor burn hardcore)

I know there are countless threads about shaving and razor burn. I know how to avoid it. But I went to the barber the other day and decided to get a shave for the first time. I had a feeling I was going to get razor burn when he shaved against the grain, but I thought "maybe it won't happen this time." It did. It happened and it hurts like hell.

So what do you do when you already have razor burn to get rid of it? I have a date tomorrow night and I don't want to show up looking like I have gonnaherposyphilitis on my neck.

Any tips to at least sooth the burning and maybe get rid of the unsightly red grossness?

Alcohol, and an antibacterial cream is really your only choice. The most you can hope for is to prevent any minor infections.

Fuck over night, I'm doing that now.

BTW: polysporin is recommended over neosporin due to the fact that a lot of people eventually develop an allergic reaction to neosporin.

Edit: I also have some hardcore steroid cream that I use to get rid of eczema, think that'd do anything?
