I'm about 50 miles from Bonnaroo, and the local piggies are having a field day out there.

COOKEVILLE - Four tanks filled with laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and a bunch of balloons were among the items confiscated by police here as they worked what some called "Bonnaroo Patrol" this week.

Every year, Putnam's law officers snag some of those passing through here on their way to Coffee County's popular music festival. Usually, the arrests involve drug charges.

So it was that Miles Alexander Corcoran, 21, of Tabor Drive, Bradford, and Richard Vincent Szeligowski, 22, of Church Street, Bradford, took a detour on their way to Bonnaroo.

Total bond for each was set at $20,000, and they have a July 7 court date.

The older model Cadillac Seville the two were traveling in was seized by police...

And this is just one of several counties one must pass through on the way to Manchester. Every fucking cop in this state has a hardon this weekend. An out-of-state tag is just a big sign that says: PULL ME OVER & FUCK WITH ME. And if they get a party vibe from you, they're suddenly going to smell marijana in your car. Getting to Bonnaroo means running the Piggie Gauntlet for several hundred miles.

We've got Junebug Boogie coming up next weekend (nearby in Gainesboro). The cops really hassle all the bikers coming in for that. They'll set up a roadblock and screen everyone that drives into the area.

I'd love to go to Bonnaroo, but they hold it during the hottest part of the year, which sucks. I barely leave the house from June through August.

I had a 45 minute exchange with a cop in a parking lot, I called
him everything but the 'N'... I wouldnt have done it but he
threatened to kick my ass after calling me a liar regarding a
sign he alleged was posted and wasnt, there was a sign but it
was something to do with a grand opening, not about towing
peoples cars

I'm going to think for a minute, what would a cop be looking for if wanting to find psychedelic drugs (including weed):

Long hair
Scruffy face, or weird goatee
Jewelry made of string (or hemp), or string and beads
Clothing: T-shirt, deep pocket shorts and sandals with or without dirty feet.
Car: economy coupe or sedan

You have to think, even though you want to seperate from "the norm" you are fitting a profile.

The easiest profile to fit, that does not indicate drug use, is the redneck or rural religious profile.

One of the better insurence i've always known is to Give the local precinct  money(Better now than later right?).

They give you one of those bumper stickers with a badge and says something like "i supported the local precinct 1245" or whatever.

Put that fucker on your bumper or even right fucking next to your tag so they see it when they get up on your ass to run your plate or intimidate you to do something stupid. The idea is that you already gave the fuckers your money. A ego-fied prick cop wont care,but it's work many times with apparently 'normal' cops.


it's not a guarantee,but it's worked for me countless times.

it's worked for me countless times.


I used to talk to several cops on a nightly basis, those stickers
dont do anything, some even write more tickets to those people
because you're supposed to be supporting laws enforcement, not
adding to their workload, the sticker is a waste of money and effort

Ive had cops tell me thats one thing they look for to pull a person over, that & "drive sober" bumper stickers

I have to agree with Pris, that and the DARE stickers won't deter terry stops.

The metal (riveted to tag) FOP insignia will deter some LEO's, but if you are not a LEO or married to one and driving their car, you are in some serious poopoo from the popo.

hah,damn. It's worked for me. Like I said though, it's not doing shit do a 'supercop'.

I don't drive with anything. well,fuck i don't do anything anymore period,but i Do drive loud flashy vehicles or old beat up vehicles all though the wee hours of the morning as cops flood the area around here.

Hell I'm sure you know how bad it is a little south of here. D-ws-nville Cops kick fucking ass though,so no big deal.
