RIP Sydney
    #8493287 -

You were the greatest and you will be missed. She had been suffering with diabetes, blindness in one eye, and more recently bone cancer. She was in a lot of pain and we just couldn't stand to watch her suffer anymore. :frown: They gave her a shot of morphine and then put her to sleep, she laid down and didn't flinch. At least she went out peacefully I suppose.

RIP Syd.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Sorry bout your dog bro. Where you been anyways? We need to kick it sometime and have a few beers, like in the old days.

Weeds and Californication are coming back soon.

Thanks to everyone who wished her well, I really appreciate it. She was awesome and one of the most gentle dogs you'd ever meet, she was a 127 pound (when healthy) baby.

Those pics I posted above were taken a couple of days ago. She laid down in the grass and wouldn't move for about a half hour because her leg hurt too bad to stand on. I figured I'd get some pics while I had the chance.

Real sorry man, we recently had to put my dog down, it's not nice but atleast they are not suffering anymore.

God takes those closest to us, because it makes him feel better about himself. He is a very vengeful God. He's all pissed off about something we did thousands of years ago. He just can't get over it, so he doesn't care who he takes. Children, puppies, it don't matter to him, so long as it makes us sad.

Why does God give us anything?

Look at it this way: if you want to make a baby cry, first you give it a lollipop. Then you take it away. If you never give it a lollipop to begin with, it would have nothin' to cry about. That's like God, who gives us life and love and help just so that he can tear it all away and make us cry, so he can drink the sweet milk of our tears. You see, it's our tears, Stan, that give God his great power.
