Toilet roll kits

I was about to order the kit, since 4 pounds is only like 6 bucks. Anyway, when they say "mushroom spawn", do they mean mycelium water?
I would try this, just cause it seems so easy, but there have to be better ways to grow than on toilet paper.

I think when they say "mushroom spawn", they are talking about colonized grain or saw dust.
I'm gonna take a guess, and say they are taking innoculated grain spawn, because it's easier to pour, and then pouring it in a toilet paper roll.
They are probally sealing both ends of the toilet paper roll with some kinda filter(to prevent contamination and to allow air exchange)
I would also guess, they are wetting the toilet paper roll to a certain percentage of water.
Then I would guess you should incubate the roll untill it is colonized.
Once the roll is colonized, obviously it would be fruited.
The incubation time and temp. will vary for different strains.
Do your homework on the growth parameters of the strain being cultivated.
