Paper pellets

They sell this compressed paper cat litter at the supermarket called Bio Catolet. It strikes me as potentially a good spawn or even substrate for cellulose loving mushrooms.

Anyone tried it?

it works and its good
especially if you find it hard to get hold of sawdust
its also suitable for the peroxide tek
ive grown oysters, shiitake reishi and now Psilocybe cyanescens from it
i enrich it with soy milk powder and gypsum and innoculate bags of it with grain spawn
works wonders for outdoor spawn
