What do I care what it averages in the past? I'm talking about the future, as evident from my post.

In my state's last gubernatorial election the libertarians got 1.8%, which seems a respectable amount to me.

I don't know why you're addressing historical results when they aren't relevant and aren't relied upon to support my premise, which is that the libertarian party will become more relevant as access to news and political viewpoints expands and newer voters are minted.

I'm making a prediction. Maybe its crap, but you're not addressing that.

a 2% turnout for the libertarians is quite good, imo. If that could be replicated at the national level they'd have a tiny bit of relevance in the actual turnout.

Did you just make that number up or what?
