Plagiarism between newspapers

I was reading over the various newspapers and their articles on Albert Hoffman and I noticed they were all pretty much the same(Plagiarism anybody?)

it's with other stories too. one article gets copied word to word to other newspapers.

maybe it has something to do with Associated Press? one media outlet writes the original article and then all the sister branches of that firm copy-paste it to their "newspapers", it seems.

I think how it works is you pay a subscription to AP or a similar company and you get access to those stories, you can them copy them or change them up if you like.

I guess when I added the question mark to the word "syndication" it was too much. lol
