Next time you guys go, if it's a good sushi place, I really recommend trying the Yellowtail, or Hamachi (if the menu has Japanese names). They're pretty pricey, but there is just SO much flavor in them. It's really remarkable, you don't expect it at all.

Hamachi is fucking amazing.


And yeah... if you got chewy tuna.. that shit was not fresh. Good tuna melts in your mouth like butter.

It's not the best, but it's not terrible.

There are a few good places in madison.

Denver is getting known for it's Sushi scene. Big article last summer in USA today about the top 10 places in the city. Rather shocking, but when you consider that Denver/Boulder is on of the "Mega 40" (Cities that contribute the most to the world economy) I guess it's not too surprising. Sushi costs some $$$$. The more rich people, the better off you're gonna be I guess.
