It helped me a lot last summer when I was undergoing a pretty frustrating and short, sad love story.

I assume Maynard is a busy guy, and with his newest project Puscifer he's probably been spending most of his time.
I can't forsee another APC album in the near-future, but only time will tell.

Although the group never officially disbanded, A Perfect Circle has been on hiatus since 2006, having not written new material, toured or recorded, but the band's personnel have kept busy with other projects.

the covers album was weak, their both studio albums were classics though.

i agree, i never really bought into tool. They just kinda seemed like an angry rock band to me? good but. overrated:shrug:

APC has unofficially disbanded. IMO I think they're gonna come back :smile:

I'm glad i got to see them in 2004 that show fucking rocked.

lol at this thread.

APC is done as far as maynard is concerned. he said something along the lines of "APC can keep going, it'll just have to be without me" or something along those lines.

tool will always be > than APC.

that's *not the exact quote i am remembering, but this is close enough to show that APC is done, as far as still containing Maynard.

In a December 2007 interview with Revolver, as he discussed the other members of A Perfect Circle's recent activities and also hinted the possibility of a reunion, Keenan stated:

"The real problem with running Tool and A Perfect Circle at the same time was they both operate the same way. They're both live touring bands with a label, still working under the old contract mentality. So I thought it was time to let A Perfect Circle go for now and let Billy explore himself. It's tough for a guy who went from being a guitar tech [for Tool] to being in a band with a pretentious, famous singer and having to live in that shadow. It was important for Billy to go and do his own thing and really explore his own sound and let people hear what he has to say and how he would do it on his own, and then we'll get back and do some A Perfect Circle stuff."
