Sad no one ever seems to recognize the Band as one of the best bands if not the best (IMO) in the history of modern music.

PS Van Morrison easily stole the guest spotlight.

I know it's heresy but I just have never liked The Last Waltz. I dig the band, I dig a lot of the guest musicians...but other than Neil with the monstrous rock of coke up his nose, I yawn watching that doc every time.

Go listen to your techno...

I barely listen to any electronic music, don't know where you got that from...

It takes a human hand wailing on a guitar to REALLY get me going, even though I do listen to some DJ's, etc...

And like I said in my post, that you quoted - I dig the Band.

So...dunno where that came from. Other than yer own personal assumptions.

loli hear ya frobot

the band is great. there a band about culmination and about music for music sake.
they have great songs but truly i cant get down to them like some other folks

thers kinda just too much vamping and predictable bluey stuff for me at times.

and if you like wailing guitar work you will def enjoy phils currebt freinds :gd_icon: i find jackie greene addes a great deawl of classic rock wail to the group

In the original releases of the film it was edited out but if you get the current edition on DVD it's been restored. It's ginormous.
