Stop Making Sense is my favorite movie.
And no I don't have to admit it - cause I love almost all of his solo work! Feelings, Look Into The Eyeball, and Grown Backwards are terrific albums. So is My Life in the Bush of Ghosts and Rei Momo is...interesting. I've seen him live a few times and I wouldn't miss it anytime he's nearby!
David Byrne is my role model as a human being.

It's just that Talking Heads is monumental...epic...revolutionary. It's a tough act to follow.

Ok, concede to that, but when I think awesome records Look into The Eyeball doesn't scream at me from my subconscious, its one of those, deep contemplation, then "yah, that one album, by that talking heads guy...its OK"
lol, im just pulling your leg man, this shit is all subjective...

Seeing David Byrne perform in the rain in Central park while on LSD and MDA was one of the pinnacles of my entire life. He did a lot of 'Heads songs too, which was sweet.

That song is awesome! It was released in 1983 on the "Stop Making Sense" album, which I think I have (vinyl). I was 24 at the time and it was played on the radio at least 17 times a day. I was an unfortunate victim of overexposure to it.
You have fine taste in music.
My favorite band of all time? Toss-up between The Beatles and Rush.

Yeah that's a live version of it, the original is on the album Speaking in Tongues. Both great in their own right.
Watching Stop Making Sense on acid with my two best friends killed me.

You're right. It was released on Speaking In Tongues in 1983 and then Live in 1999 on Stop Making Sense. My mistake.

i'd have to say Opeth is my all-time favorite... but lately, i've gotten out of metal. no matter how many times you tell yourself it doesn't, metal makes you depressed. reggae is where it's at.

Based off sheer mp3 volume it would have to be The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Now everyone go have a listen to Tepid Peppermint Wonderland and hear some evil rock and roll.
