misting casing w/ H202

I see that if one's casing needs misting that an H202 (hydrogen peroxide) and water solution should be used.

Can someone advise me on the relative proportions that I should be using in my misting solution so as not to mess up my purely hypothetical situation.

1:10 is about right. H202 is remarkable stuff in that it doesn't hurt mycelium at all in reasonable concentrations, but fucks up those contams.

A too strong mix of H202/H20 could possible hurt the mycelium, be carefull. If H202 COULDNT hurt mycelium everyone would be casing with a water/peroxide mix....

Check on your H202 bottle to see how strong the solution is. Try to adjust the water/peroxid amounts to have no more than 5% peroxide.

5% is much too strong for anything in mushroom cultivation....
