misting casings

i have my first pinheads ever!! i am so excited. and i have way more than i expected, too. about 50 so far in a 9x13 size pan. i cased in straight verm using two pf cakes, pf classic strain. i'm using perlite. when i cased, as soon as i saw mycelium poking through the top verm layer i removed the saran wrap, put it in my terranium and exposed it to light (i have a 60 watt flourescent fixture above both terraniums)
anywho...
now that i have all these beautiful pinheads do i still continue to mist when i fan (2-3 times a day) or should i stop misting now??

hmmmm... i've been misting about a day 1/2 with pinheads, is this gonna cause a lot of abhorts?
and i know in theory how to recognize abhorts...
halted growth, heads turn black... but it seems to me the heads are already black when they start out. so should i just watch for the pinheads that don't seem to be growing?

To me i can clear pick out the aborted ones. They dont grow at all if not much and start to turn bluish black and the cap goes dark.

Most of the pins I've seen start out with a reddish-brown cap. But, yes, if they don't grow within a couple of days, they're aborts. (and the caps turn black)
