cool thread. i love last.fm, i've actually met some really interesting people and musicians on there.

I've got two artists tied for the 20th spot as well...

1. Boards of Canada
2. John Frusciante
3. The Olivia Tremor Control
4. The Kinks
5. Aphex Twin
6. Elliott Smith
7. Nick Drake
8. Devendra Banhart
9. Animal Collective
10. Guided By Voices
11. Radiohead
12. Deerhunter
13. Four Tet

15. Tim Hecker
16. Spiritualized
17. The Who
18. Bob Dylan
19. Stars of The Lid
20. Dntel
21. The Velvet Underground

it seems like alot of this top twenty is slowly rotating itself out and down the list, as my musical tastes have been changing alot over the last year. It's funny, I'm not even a huge fan of devendra or deerhunter...i just played the shit out of their '07 releases at the time...phases, we go through phases. that's why last.fm charts are so cool though.

my list is sort of misleading. 4 through 20 all have pretty close to the same play count. 1 through 3 actually have more total plays than 4 -20 combined.
