"Bonanza" Bright leaf, "Kelly Burley", Turkish/Oriental-"Samsun" and Perique Tobacco should blend together nicely.
I'm making a bunch of cigs!
Last year my home grown was 100 times better than any commercial tobacco product I've ever smoked.
You get that goooood, woody tobacco flavor.

well, cuban cigars are still comercial and they're by far the best thing i have ever smoked.
you should plant tobacco early spring, then just let it grow... and you also may cut the flowers, that won't make the leaf larger just thicker, which makes for more 'body' to the smoke, and also increases harvest, if you're into that.
i just like to look at the flowers...and let them go to seed, so you don't have to buy seeds every year, and also so that the tobacco adjusts to your local microclimate.
and just to clear all that 'it didn't have any nicotine': tobacco is not like weed. it has nicotine since seedling, in the exact same content it will have as it grows. but if you wash the leaves before harvest, or harvest them after rain, then the nicotine will wash away. but when it flowers the flowers have a very high nicotine content.
