Extracting nicotine.

Actually what I want to do is remove nicotine from tobacco to use in a low nicotine smoking blend. I have some sitting in a cold water bath right now.

This is for my Liberty Bong.

whats gonna be the point of smoking it then, for the rich flavor?hehe
go buy some of those quest ciggarettes, with low to no nicotine.

Yes, flavor.

I'd like to preserve as much of that as possible in the process. That's why I'm using cold water. I want a really mellow not harsh smoke.

I smoked some kind of weird tobacco like that once. I belive it was N. rustica.

if you're looking for a smooth smoke you will like n. glauca then...
besides that, both are completely different than industrial cigs!
strong happy buzz... i cannot smoke more than half a cig at a time!
and doesn't makes you sick as easy as n. tabacum...

I've finished washing and drying some american spirit. I added some apple butter and maple syrup to it and loaded it up in my Liberty Bong.

It still tastes like tobacco. Not quite as smooth as I'd like it yet. I have some more drying that has more apple butter than the first experiment. When it is dry I am expecting it to be a little smoother.

After taking several strong hits I am convinced that I got almost all of the nicotine out.

Seems a bit odd but....OK. I would understand if you wanted to extract pure nicotine for recreational pursuits but hey- go for it! Awesome post time Baby Hitler- I was loading MY liberty bong at 4:20 AM!

A liberty bong is a bong smoked in public with legal herbs as a form of protest. That's what this nicotine free tobacco based smoking blend is for.

Recreation pursuits? Like what killing people. One drop of pure nicotine can kill someone in about 15 min. Prisoners have been known to save cigarette buts which they then soak in water to get enough nicotine to commit suicide with. It is a rather effective insecticide also.
