Job dilemma

Well, I'm sure many people have this kind of "job dilemma". I have a boring, monotonous part-time job. I can do it on autopilot because it is also very easy. But do you have any suggestions for keeping myself amused or stimulated? (apart from listening to music endlessly.) The problem is, the boredom makes me irritated and depressed, and I end up pissing off a lot of people who are close to me.

Unforuntately, quitting or changing this job is not an option. :frown:

well it would help to know what it is exactly that you do at this job, in order to suggest ways to make it more stimulating/amusing.

and why isn't looking for a different job an option? if you don't mind my asking.
