DMT Prices?

I was wondering what is a reasonable price for DMT? I ask this cause I was talking to a friend the other day, and he said that he might be able to get some. And that he heard there was some in town. But I am worried about the price I have to pay. Some things he can hook up at low cost others he gets ripped off. Like that same day when he bought shrooms he paid $175 an oz. Which I think is robbery. And I think the DMT may come from the same guy. So what is it worth say for a 5 or 10 mg dose for a first time trip on DMT? And how can I tell if it is real, fake, or cut? Before buying.

A 5-10mg dose of nnDMT is no dose at all.At least 20-30mg is needed.Are you sure you don't mean 5MeODMT?

Anyway,around $250/gm is about right for nnDMT.

And if your going to do it, do at least 50mg. There's a jump to a whole new level from 30mg to 50mg.

However if it is 5meoDMT (which is most likely is) you'd probably kill yourself using 50mg. So either avoid it completly or start with no more than 5mg. And read up on DMT to see if you really want to do it. It's not the kind of thing you take lightly.

10mg? Do you mean 100mg? 10mg of DMT wont do shit. That would have to be 5meoDMT, totally different.

Why waste your money? Get ahold of some Mimosa Hostilis RB (about 180 bucks for a pound) and extract it. 1 LB of MHRB is about 2.5 grams of DMT =)

I heard 1000mg (1g) of 5-Me0-DMT can go for about $200.

That reminds me, does anyone know of any good methods for extracting N,N-DMT from the M. hostilis bark?

I read up on QT's method (acid / base) and found it a tad too involved. To find this method, run a keyword search on Google for "DMT QT's method."

I don't like working with all those chemicals in my house. But if there may be a method using less chemicals (and I don't mean Ayahuasca style brews) then please someone refer me/us to it. Would be most appreciated!

p.s. a note on DMT doses to clear up any confusion...

5-MeO-DMT - SMOKED DOSES
Threshold 1 - 2 mg
Light 2 - 5 mg
Common 5 - 10 mg
Strong 10 - 20 mg

N,N-DMT - SMOKED DOSES
Threshold 5 - 10 mg
Mild 10 - 20 mg
Common 20 - 40 mg
Strong 40 - 60 mg

If you want to extract smokeable DMT,then you are going to have to use solvents,strong bases and strong acids.There is no way around it.
About the least chemical intensive way would be to just extract into methanol,but the final product will be gooey gunk which is neither concentrated enough or flammable enough to be effective,IMO.

I want to do chemicle extraction, should be asy enough hav4e at least 3 years chem experience at colledge. But the problem is finding a 100% solvent i.e dosent have any nasty oils. But i am in the u.k and this stuff isnt easy to come by.
Was thinking about building a distillary but havent got round to it yet also it could be dangerous. So any one have any ideas I need a good cheap source of ethanol ect.
I think using methanol coud be a bit too toxic to use unless you can evaporate it a 100%

I suggest you make friends with some cool chemistry students, particularly graduate chemistry students. They most likely have access to chemical supplies and can get you all the good stuff...reagent grade methanol, ethanol, acetone, and other solvents.

They can even help with odd chemistry questions
