Whats easier...a mescaline extraction or a DMT extraction?

DMT and mescaline are the remaining mind altering substances I wish to try. I know Ayahuasca and San Pedro are equally easily obtainable but which would you say is easier to extract the chemical from. Is it even worth to extract mescaline since you can just pack the peruvian TOrch powder into caps? I am not just talking bout the extraction either but rather the obtaining the supplies etc...Ill even make a poll

You made the pole the stupid way.

Now when people want to check to see which one is easier, they'll have to choose one.

And people that have no idea how to do either one will probably want to check too, so they'll have to just randomly pick one or something.

It would have been better just to post the question probably.

There's no option for people to just look and see.

It would have been better if you put in an option like "I've never done either extractions" as well.

Sigh, never mind, but I wouldn' trust the results of that pole over what someone says... if they've done both extractions.

there are a lot of factors involved in deciding which is easier, I don't think a poll helps, especially not one where to view the results you have to skew the results.

I have heard many people (pretty much everyone I have talked with who has done both extractions) say that the mescaline extraction is much more "forgiving" than a DMT extraction. An extract of the mescaline/DMT crystals is good because you know the exact dosage your taking in, unlike the cacti tea, alcohol extract, and ayahuasca (of course, the effects are quite different with pure DMT crystals - I would guess smoked - and ayahuasca)

Who cares how difficult or easy it is. Pick which one you want to do, and just do it. Both aren't to complicated and worth the effort. Get your hands on a Bufo alvarius. Good luck getting one though, they're expensive if you want to buy it, and rare as hell if you go hunting. Luckily my buddy keeps 2 as pets, and he extracts the venom from time to time.

bufo toads are 5-meo-dmt, not n-n-dmt...  dmt is extracted from plant material...  or the human brain...  :crazy2:

Yes, but you cant honestly tell me smoking 5-meo-dmt isn't going to emerge you into a full DMT experience? I've smoked it many times and every time was more then mind blowing. Also, I think 5-meo-dmt is found in Ayahuasca. So all in all, I understand its not just DMT, and it might not be what your looking for. I've also read that the chance of a bad experience is more common with 5-meo-dmt then n-n-dmt. It sure works though :smile:

Why was that addressed to me? All I said was that the mescaline extraction is more forgiving than a DMT extraction.

Mescaline can be made more 'roughly' and neglectedly. I did it with no Ph control, no real equipment, nothing. It takes a lot longer than a D extraction though.

You can just make a tea, add LOTS of lye, add xylene, separate, mix xylene with dilute HCl, evap acid and you have mescaline hydrocloride.

Dmt is a shorter process but it has to be very precise. As hydroxides tend to remain in the final yield you have to be very anal about cleaning it. If you are not precise you'll get goo or colored crystal, etc...If you don't clean the DMT right you'll have super-harsh smoke.

All in all both are quite easy if you fully understand the processes.

Extracting mescaline is very useful. Do you want to compare eating many dozens of caps of cactus powder that will literally grow in your stomach, turn to snot, and make you sick for many hours to ONE big capsule full of crystalline goodness that will give mild nausea for 30-60mins followed by a clean high dose trip?

A mescaline A/B yields a crystal that is about 80 to 120X the original dried cactus strength. Thus eating one capsule of mescaline is roughly the same as eating 80 to 120 capsules of dried cactus, with the added bonus that it won't make you sick...

Extracted mescaline is the only way i fly :wink:

Thanks for the advice man, I couldnt imagine eating 120 capules....damn.  Anyways, wise words...

*I edited my first poll, just to show the results thus far for anybody who is interested in this topic.  I guess I screwed up the Poll by making people choose before they see the percentages.  Default I guess?!?  Mescaline is leading by wuite a margin and you can subtract one vote from "equally the same"...since thats the choice I had to put to see the results  :crazy: :penis:

I agree with you. I'm just saying there's plenty of DMT in 5-meo-dmt to send on quite the journey. Even if its not technical DMT.
