What are the chances my grow is fucked?

When I was mixing WBS and coir in a mono tub my room mate came in from the kitchen with an old jar of cheese dip and opened it right next to me to show me the nasty mold in it. He was still a good three feet from the tub, the air was completely still and I threw the cover on the tub and resterilized the room after he left. Am I just paranoid or is there a good chance spores from the cheese mold are going to rape my mono tub?

first of all, what an asshole.

secondly, there's really no telling.. it could be some other mold or something in the air that contams it, not necessarily his but it could very well be contaminated.

hopefully not and everything goes great for you and you and your roomie get along.

I'm not overly concerned with it, he didn't know how stupid he was being because he understands nothing about my hobby. I'm just hoping it didn't screw up my tub. I've never had other contamination problems, and I do my work in a sealed room in sterile OR scrubs, so if mold gets in it had to have been from that fucking cheese.

dump the whole fckin tub out on his bed and then shit on his pillow.

Molds don't grow well from spores on coir for some reason. When you see molds in coir, they usually came from the grain spawn itself, so you're probably ok.
