New Yorkers- Ever find Liberty Caps here??
    #795037 -

Hello. I've got a question for any members that live in NY. Have you ever found Liberty Caps here? I'm upstate, and was wondering when they begin growing here. If you've found them-where? I don't want an exact location, just what town or area in NY it was. Thanks alot!!

Flanders, Flanders...they come up anywhere from August until October...depending on the weather, temperature etc. Probably the best month being smack dab in the middle. That is in our geo location, can't really say anything about the UK or the west coast.

Cheers

I live near Woodstock, and my friend says at 6 in the morning during the summer he goes through town picking them off the yards of stores and off his fathers horse manure pile, but that leads me to believe hes eating subs and hasnt really ID'd them properly. I myself havent found any actives in my two years picking. Good Luck, happy shroomin!

He's probably eating Panaeolus papilionaceus and doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.
