I got an ache in my abs
    #7904689 -

you know when you do some shallow crunches, the ones that get the top abs? and if you do too many, they get this dull ache with a little nausea?
maybe it is me, but that is the only way to describe it.

I have had that all day.
I just spent a week skiing and every muscle is generally sore... but I dont really think I used my abs that much.
I also got a pretty bad cough during the trip, and that is the only thing I can think of that could cause my abs from constantly hurting all day.
the other thing is that I got so nauseas today I almost threw up... I never throw up. and it feels like indigestion keeps coming and going.

I am just worried if something is ruptured in that area, or maybe a hernia... shit hurts almost as much as it is annoying.

Has this improved over the past few hours or gotten worse? Maybe you should see a physician about this. Stomach ailments are common this time of year. In fact, I just got over one about 2 weeks ago. I got a prescription for some Phenergan, and it seemed to help alot.

youd be surprised anus. a port like skiing uses every muscle in your body, including your abs. id say your just fine, give them time to recover and youll be a-ok.

doesnt sound like a hernia to me. you would notice a protrusion somewhere around your lower waist/groin area if that was the case.

lol id like to see you deadlift some heavy loads, if crunches get you "a dull ache" training would make you explode

besides that, youll prolly be just fine, you exposed your body to an activity its not used to,
so your sore - no big deal.
