all that ab exercises do is help to increase the size of the abdominal muscle it doesnt burn fat around the area..

burning fat around the abdominal area can only be achieved through cardio...THAT with a combination of ab exercises will help your abs pop out through the smaller layer of fat ...

THATS why if someone has a VERY HIGH level of body fat no matter how many ab exercises they do it will never help their abs pop out through the layer of fat...

Although i guess if you do MARATHON 30min+ ab exercises, that can almost be a combination of cardio and ab exercise, but that is really time consuming and a waste of energy since a proper split routine of cardio THEN ABDOMINAL exercise will benefit alot more than just ab exercises alone..

ALSO...if you want more visible abs DO NOT EAT DAIRY, since it will create a layer between your muscle and skin which is very hard to get rid of, even with exercise....

very true about needing cardio if your not lean enough to see the definition anyways, but i disagree about not eating dairy. I go through a gallon of milk in 3-4days and I'm still lean as hell, its all just dependent on if your getting enough exercise to burn off the calories

i should have been more detailed...

ALOT of people have very minor allergies to dairy..i dont mean lactose intolerant..

many adults lack the the quantity of rennin needed to break apart dairy products inside the stomach..

this causes a layer of fat beneath the skin to form...I GUESS THIS would apply more to ahtletes like bodybuilders who need to have the utmost definition before competition...BUT it definetly doesnt help in definiton ..especially if u want that extra little striation in your abs

TRY taking out dairy and u will be alot more cut if u are already

Or u can supplement your diet with certain genetically produced supplements made out of rennet to make it easier for your body to break up dairy...

INTERSTING FACT: Today the most widely-used genetic rennet is produced by the fungus Aspergillus niger.
